Sukiya Japanese Steakhouse, a new restaurant with a host of Asian culinary offerings, opened its doors Dec. 5 at 360 Columbiana Drive in Columbia’s popular Harbison shopping district. The eatery is in the location that formerly was home to another Japanese restaurant, Yamato, for many years.
Red banners touting that the restaurant is now open for business were flying in front of the location on Monday morning when a reporter went by.
