GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – After public spats with state leaders this school year, two Alachua County School Board members have announced their plans to run for office in 2026, but in different positions.
Tina Certain, the District 1 school board member, announced that she will run for the Alachua County Commission District 2 seat. Her term on the school board ends in 2026.
