A man was arrested after a post-vacation altercation with his girlfriend over money.
Austin Sapp, 38, was arrested Saturday on a charge of battery stemming from an incident in November in the Parkwood community in Oxford.
In that incident, Sapp and his girlfriend had returned from an out-of-state vacation, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. Sapp approached his girlfriend and told her he needed $200. She refused to give him the money and he responded by choking her. She was able to call law enforcement, prompting Sapp to flee on foot…
