CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Cedar Rapids plans to use nearly $2 million in federal funding to purchase two hybrid buses as part of its ongoing effort to reduce emissions across the city fleet, The Gazette reported.
The funding comes from a roughly $1.9 million Federal Transit Administration Low or No Emission grant, awarded after the city’s second attempt.
