Joel Webbon, a far-rightChristian nationalist and senior pastor at Georgetown’s Covenant Bible Church in Austin, has once again gone viral — this time for telling women to “lose 20 to 30 pounds” to find a husband.
Webbon made the remarks on a Wednesday episode of Righteous Response Ministries’ “The Live Stream” show titled “Fertility, Beauty, & Submission.” Webbon is credited with founding the ministry, which endorses “Biblical Patriarchy” under Christian nationalism.
