PEORIA, Ariz. — A Peoria teen received a rare award for heroism after a violent car crash, though he would rather the whole ordeal be forgotten.
“I didn’t feel like I deserved anything,” said 17-year-old Tommy Salch. “It was just something that happened while I was on my way to get donuts.”
