HONOLULU (KHON2) — A Honolulu Police Department was allegedly stabbed by a 35-year-old man during the early morning hours of Dec. 9 in Waikīkī, police said.
The alleged stabbing took place at 12:20 a.m. on Kūhiō Avenue when HPD officers responded to the man, who was armed and experiencing a mental health crisis, officials said.

HPD said that while responding to the scene, one of their officers was stabbed by the man, who then injured himself.
