A man is in jail after a shooting incident over the weekend in Phenix City.
The incident occurred around 2 P.M. EST on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway — in the area of the Quality Inn hotel and Marathon gas station.
We are told no injuries were reported in the shooting incident.
A witness, who was pumping gas, saw the incident unfold and told CNAW2News.com, the suspect got out of a vehicle, shot off the gun multiple times, and then fled.
The suspect, identified by jail records as 35-year-old Eric Raymond Miller, was arrested and booked into the Russell County Jail around 10 P.M. EST the same day.
Miller is charged with four counts of attempted murder, four counts of discharging a firearm into unoccupied building, railroad, aircraft, automobile, truck, or watercraft.
