LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Police are searching for the person who fired more than a dozen rounds into a home on Magoffin Street early Tuesday morning.
People were inside the home at the time of the shooting, police said.
Ring camera captures shooting
Around 4:45 a.m., Alyani Thompson’s Ring camera captured footage of a masked person firing multiple rounds from an AR-style rifle into her window.
“I was getting Ring camera alerts and something told me to look at my camera and that’s when I seen multiple police officers here,” Thompson said.
Thompson’s mother was inside the home at the time and woke up to the sound of gunfire…
