MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers are investigating after a man was shot while riding in a vehicle, News 5 has learned.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to a local hospital around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 9 after a man showed up with a gunshot wound.

Officers determined that the man had been a passenger in a vehicle when bullets hit it, grazing the man.
