4 injured in raging Upper West Side apartment fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A raging fire broke out at an apartment building on the Upper West Side on Tuesday morning, injuring four people and sending smoke billowing over Manhattan.

The fire broke out shortly before 8:20 a.m. on the top floor of 201 West 107th St., a six-story building at Amsterdam Avenue.

Citizen App video shows a plume of smoke rising over the area. As the flames tore through the building, parts of a metal parapet came crashing down onto the street below, video shows.
