ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Lifelong Roanoke resident Tashara Davis is officially a first-time homeowner.
She and her two children are moving into the 20th annual ‘R-House,’ the physical manifestation of an ongoing partnership between Habitat for Humanity of the Roanoke Valley and Roanoke College.
“Just to see the finished product is wonderful,” said Davis. “To give me and my kids a wonderful home for us to create memories. I’m just so happy and overjoyed with how everything has turned out.”…
