New Village stores to bring bling, baked goods to shopping center

More stores and restaurants are set to join The Village at Meridian’s expansion, which has already begun construction.

Bling

Texas-based jewelry store Kendra Scott has filed permits to set up shop in one of the shopping center’s new buildings. According to Centercal’s Hugh Crawford, an official lease has not been signed with Kendra Scott, and he could not comment on whether or not the store was coming. Centercal is the company that owns The Village.

Permits show the jewelry brand plans to occupy a 1,533-square-foot space at 3300 E. Longwing Ln. in Meridian. That is in a new building planned in the space west of Urban Outfitters, as BoiseDev reported.

Kendra Scott was founded in 2002 and sells a variety of necklaces, rings, watches, bracelets, and other jewelry. The company uses both real gems and colored glass as well as multiple types of metals, for pieces at a variety of price points. The brand also offers customizable pieces and engraving.

Baugettes

Another company, Paris Baguette, is also coming to The Village expansion. The bakery and cafe has several locations in California, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Canada, with another location announced for Florida.
