Sheriff: 14 Black Angus cattle missing, ‘presumed stolen’ from 3 herds near Greeley

DENVER (KDVR) —  The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information regarding 14 Black Angus cattle that have been missing or potentially stolen from multiple herds just northeast of Greeley.

The sheriff’s office said that cattle from three separate herds in the area were impacted, and the incidents are believed to have occurred around the beginning of October, but “the exact timeframe varies.”

According to the sheriff’s office, a total of “14 Black Angus cows” from the three separate herds have been missing as of Tuesday evening, with each herd having “different last-seen-together dates and different grazing locations.”

The sheriff’s office also provided brand information of the missing and “presumed stolen” cattle.

The law enforcement agency said that a brand inspector with the Colorado Department of Agriculture has been notified, along with a report filed in the agency’s office…
