Seattle Police Respond to Multiple Incidents Involving Weapons and Disturbances Across City

On December 5, 2025, Seattle police officers responded to several incidents across the city. In the East Precinct at S Bush Pl and Hiawatha Pl S, officers encountered a suspect armed with an axe and a large knife who was threatening bystanders. The suspect did not comply with commands. Officers used a less lethal tool to disarm the suspect and took him into custody. He received medical attention before being booked into King County Jail.

Later, in the North Precinct, officers responded to a disturbance at a DESC building. A female suspect holding two plastic rods threw them at officers, striking one in the face. She was arrested and booked for assault and property destruction. The officer was not injured…
