Patient describes alleged abuse by former Tripler doctor

HONOLULU (Island News) — A Texas mother is describing her alleged abuse at the hands of former Tripler Army Medical Center doctor Maj. Blaine McGraw. She revealed that she was unaware McGraw had taken images of her during an OBGYN appointment in October.

“I was left confused, just kind of blindsided by the whole thing. He had been a provider that I had trusted and that I thought really cared about my well being,” she said. “It’s insanely traumatizing,” she added.

The woman is among dozens of others, including 10 who lived in Hawaii at the time, alleging abuse by McGraw, who worked at Tripler from 2019 to 2023. He is accused of secretly recording patients, inducing labor without consent, and performing unnecessary procedures…
