DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) – DeKalb County dispatchers say multiple accidents were reported along I-69 in Auburn this morning as drivers navigate icy roads.
A spokesperson for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says two people were hurt in a crash around 7 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes of I-69, at mile marker 326.
Deputy Thomas Elliott says a 63-year-old Fremont man driving a pickup truck was in the passing lane when he slowed down for another vehicle that went into his lane. Police say the truck then slid into a car driven by a 53-year-old Fort Wayne woman after merging to avoid another vehicle…
