POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A late-night disturbance call in Mulberry spiraled into a chaotic arrest Tuesday involving a broomstick, a kick to a deputy’s chest, and a slipped handcuff.

Polk County Sheriff’s deputies rushed to a home just before midnight after a 911 dispatcher heard someone yelling, “You hit me!” over the line.
