Progress developing on new affordable housing for older Kentuckians

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Dozens of units of affordable housing are on the way for Kentuckians 55 and older.

Construction crews are making progress building Bridlewood Crossing in Louisville. Concrete is being smoothed out, and parts of the parking lot are taking shape.

“Bridlewood Crossing is 76 units,” said Tammy Stansbury, vice president of development for Woda Cooper Companies. “It’s for those individuals that are 55 and older. In addition, we are setting aside 23 units for individuals who meet or who are homeless or at the definition of being homeless that need housing as well.”…
