LA rapper lured rape victims to area vacant by fires, prosecutors say

LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors and investigators in Southern California are seeking additional victims and witnesses after charging Clinton Adams, also known as hip-hop musician Clintn Lord, with rape counts “against multiple victims.”

In a Dec. 9 news release, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office detailed four felony charges against Adams, 32, who pleaded not guilty to each count during a Nov. 21 arraignment. He is charged with three felony counts of forcible rape and one felony count of assault with the intent to commit rape.

Adams, of Los Angeles, is in custody on $1,475,000 bail, the district attorney’s office said. He faces 90 years to life in California state prison if convicted, according to prosecutors. Adams’ preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 21.
