A cause of death has been determined for influencer Michael Duarte.
The content creator was shot by a deputy in an alleged confrontation with police on Nov. 8 and was later pronounced dead at a San Antonio hospital. He died from the gunshot wound, and his manner of death was officially ruled a homicide, a spokesperson for the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE.
The spokesperson also noted that the full results of an autopsy are still pending.
Representatives for the Medina County Sheriff’s Office previously confirmed to TMZ and USA Today that they received a 911 call around 11:28 a.m. on Nov. 8 “regarding a disturbance involving a male subject with a knife acting erratically.”…
