Reno city council to consider $1.9M contract for drone-as-first-responder program

The Reno City Council is scheduled to discuss and potentially vote on a public safety technology proposal during its meeting on Wednesday.

The city of Reno could enter a six-year contract on behalf of the Reno Police Department and Motorola Solutions for the BRINC MSI Take Off Program, a Drone as a First Responder (DFR) system.
