Columbus moves forward with $207 million judicial center project

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Construction continues on Columbus’ new judicial center, a $207 million project designed to modernize city infrastructure and improve the work environment for public servants.

Contractors have completed all structural work and are now applying finishing touches to the building’s exterior. Inside, crews are working on electrical engineering systems.

“It really is just a modern facility to replace the existing government center,” said Ryan Pruett, director of inspections and code.
