DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A local woman, Jamie Grant, was indicted for a charge of Aggravated Theft of over $750k, which is a second-degree felony. Officials are currently trying to find her.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington Twp. Substation detectives began investigating the Grant in July 2025. The deputies were dispatched to a local medical practice because of concerns about possible employee theft.
She was the business manager; her work included billing, payroll and other financial and administrative functions. The business saw mutiple unauthorized transactions. Officials said Grant has admitted to using the business’s funds for personal expenses.
