On December 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to an assault report on Poole Town Road in Asheboro. Emergency services treated a victim with serious injuries.
After investigating, deputies charged 37-year-old Casey Garland Jarrell with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Officers arrested Jarrell at his home.
