On December 9, 2025, the Planning, Zoning & Design Board in Estero reviewed two proposals.
The first was a request to build a 5,695-square-foot Chick-fil-A at the former Perkins restaurant site in The Shoppes at Grande Oak. This location is at the corner of Corkscrew Road and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway.
