VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The man convicted for supplying drugs to a woman who later died of an overdose is expected to be sentenced on Thursday.
CBS12 News was told by Indian River County Judge Robert Meadows that John McFarlane, an alleged drug dealer from West Palm Beach, is expected to be sentenced on Thursday after he was charged with first-degree murder by unlawful distribution of a controlled substance back in 2021.
