AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Tobacco Free Amarillo has named Crockett Middle School seventh grader Meagan Madera the winner of the 2025 TFA Billboard Art Contest, a student competition that uses graphic art to highlight the dangers of nicotine and promote tobacco-free living.

A panel of judges selected Madera’s artwork for its creativity and strong cessation message. Her design will be featured on two local billboards in early 2026, reaching thousands of residents across the Amarillo area. Madera also received a $500 cash prize.
