Man convicted in Grand Chute road rage shooting

APPLETON (WLUK) — Luke Vandenheuvel was convicted Wednesday for firing a shot into another vehicle during a road rage incident Grand Chute.

Vandenheuvel, 22, pleaded no contest to second-degree reckless injury, according to a court document. Sentencing is set for Jan. 16, court records show.

According to the criminal complaint, a motorist said Vandenheuvel cut off him off on Lynndale Drive on July 13. That driver says he then passed Vandenheuvel, and then “paused” before entering a roundabout. Vandenheuvel followed the other driver then passed him, firing a shot into the other vehicle…
