MELISSA, TX – The Melissa Police Department is actively investigating multiple Burglary of a Motor Vehicle incidents and is asking residents to assist by providing any relevant home or vehicle camera footage.
Police are specifically requesting video from the following locations and times:
- Auburndale Neighborhood – Overnight, December 5, 2025
- Milrany Ranch Neighborhood – Overnight, December 8, 2025
Residents with exterior cameras, including Ring, Nest, Blink, dash cams, or other systems, are urged to review footage during these dates. Even small or seemingly minor activity could provide critical leads in identifying suspects.
Footage can be uploaded directly to the department through a secure portal at Melissa PD Evidence Upload. Users will enter basic contact information and receive a link via email or text to submit up to 25 files at a time.
