The City of Ann Arbor has announced a new rebate program for residents. The program starts on December 8, 2025, and ends on March 1, 2026, or when funds run out. Residents can trade in a gas-powered snow blower for up to $200 off an electric snow blower or receive a free snow shovel. The rebate covers 100% of the cost of a new shovel or 50% of the cost of a new electric snow blower. Each household can receive one rebate. Purchases can be made at any retailer. Details about the trade-in process are available on the city’s website.
Ann Arbor also offers A2ZERO Home Energy Rebates. These rebates apply to home energy improvements, including heat pumps, water heaters, battery storage, induction cooktops, electrical upgrades, insulation, and air sealing. More information and application instructions are at osi.a2gov.org/rebates…
