GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Staff at the Greensboro Science Center say the sixth annual Winter Wonderlights has new features that continue to draw crowds from across the state as the center works on new exhibits they hope will continue boosting attendance.
Through Jan. 4, the GCS displays more than a million lights across the aquarium, museum and zoo. The 2025 holiday cheer features twinkling lights, snowy scenes, festive photo ops, as well as a few brand-new surprises. Vice-President of Animal Care and Welfare Jessica Hoffman says they get a lot of people from across the state and out-of-town visitors.
“It brings in a whole new audience for us that may not be … the same kind of guest attendance that we would have during the day … It’s a great family event, especially for folks that maybe wouldn’t come and haven’t seen us before but have just a really nice holiday experience out of town guests. It’s great for doing with visiting family,” Hoffman said…
