Former Shriner’s Children’s Hospital patient returns to spread Christmas magic

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A former Shriner’s Children’s Hospital patient is returned to the healthcare center to bring Christmas magic.

Matt Aldridge is a double amputee who traveled to Athens to compete in the 2004 Paralympic games. Now, he’s taking a different journey by traveling to the North Pole and bringing Santa’s workshop back with him.

Aldridge spent time greeting kids and helping them pick out a new toy for Christmas…
