A Glasgow police officer was among those honored for impaired driving enforcement during an event Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Held at the Hyatt Regency in Lexington, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear gave out nearly 170 Impaired Driving Enforcement awards in recognition of “their outstanding efforts [in keeping the] roadways safe from impaired drivers,” a governor’s office press release stated.
Glasgow Police Officer Micah Janes received the award for 2025 in division 3, which is a division for law enforcement agencies with between 26 to 50 sworn officer, the release stated. This award was given with the most driving arrests made from Oct. 1, 2024 to Sept. 30, the release stated…
