Louisville breaks ground on $58M campus aimed at supporting unhoused residents

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville has started construction on a new $58 million Community Care Campus designed to expand services for the city’s unhoused population.

The project, led by Volunteers of America Mid-States, will bring multiple services under one roof, including affordable housing, traditional housing, a family shelter, a medical respite unit and a community center. The organization is also moving its headquarters to the site.
