The Stuart Sailfish Club will host the return of the Seventy-Second Annual Light Tackle Sailfish Tournament, one of South Florida’s oldest sailfishing traditions. The club will invite the community to experience the excitement of tournament week at Sailfish Fest December 17–20.
First held in 1955, the Light Tackle Sailfish Tournament has long been recognized as one of the most prestigious events in the sport—drawing anglers, captains, and crews from around the world to Stuart, the “Sailfish Capital of the World.”
This year, the Stuart Sailfish Club will residents, visitors, and families to attend Sailfish Fest and cheer on the fleet. The fun begins at the Seventy-Second Annual Light Tackle Kick-Off Party at The Pearl in Stuart December 17.
