RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – A new year means a new chapter for America as the nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of independence in 2026.
Over the last year, the Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission said over 2,500 events have been taking place across Virginia to commemorate the nation’s 250th.
“I’m so eager for people to connect with Virginia, with their country during this time,” said Cheryl Wilson, executive director of the VA250 Commission.
