WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested three male juveniles following an alleged carjacking and brief pursuit late Saturday night, according to information released by the department.
The incident began around 10:24 p.m. on December 6, when officers responded to a report of a carjacking in the area of West 28th and North Monroe Streets. Police say the stolen vehicle was located a short time later near East 9th and North Lombard Streets, where officers attempted a vehicle stop. The driver allegedly fled, and the vehicle was later found abandoned in the 300 block of East Lea Boulevard.
According to police, three juvenile males fled the area on foot. Moments later, officers located all three juveniles in the same block and took them into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported…
