A 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with a series of violent carjackings and robberies in Chicago, according to the Chicago Police Department. The charges laid on the youth include two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking with a firearm, two counts of Vehicular Hijacking, two counts of Robbery with a firearm, and two aggrandized counts for indicating a firearm during a robbery.
Following an investigation by the Citywide Robbery Task Force, the offender was apprehended on December 8, 2025, in the presence of evidence that connected him to the crimes committed on June 24, 2025, where he allegedly participated in the armed theft of personal property and a vehicle from two victims, a 25-year-old male and a 23-year-old female in Chicago’s 19th District on the block of W.
