Metiaire man avoids Border Patrol arrest after being surrounded by masked agents

METAIRIE (WVUE) – As a Honduran man, Darwing Padilla felt confident that the ongoing immigration crackdown wouldn’t affect him. He has lived and worked legally in the United States for nearly two decades.

But that changed Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, when masked Border Patrol agents followed him home and told him they had an order for his removal.
