OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – On Thursday, Oklahoma State Auditor & Inspector [SA&I] Cindy Byrd released the forensic audit findings for the Western Heights Public School District.
According to Auditor Byrd, the investigation was prompted by a citizen petition from residents in the school district and a request from the State Board of Education.
SA&I says specific records from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2021, were investigated, focusing on 17 elements of the District’s financial operations and records. Only five elements resulted in problematic findings…
