Omaha (Neb.) Westside three-star safety Bryson Williams was committed to Iowa State since June and signed with the Cyclones last week. His plans are now changing.
With Matt Campbell now the head coach at Penn State, much of Iowa State’s 2026 recruiting class is now reevaluating its options. Williams announced on Tuesday evening that he’s been released from signing with the Midwest Big 12 program.
“I will always appreciate the opportunity I was given to be an Iowa State Cyclone. After the recent coaching changes my family and I have decided it’s best to explore other opportunities.
