Bexar Towing bookkeeper stole more than $30K for personal use, indictment says

Years after she was sued by her employer for the alleged misconduct, a bookkeeper for an embattled towing business is facing criminal charges for mishandling thousands of dollars for personal use, according to court records.

Monica Cantu Williams, 51, was arrested Dec. 1 following a grand jury indictment on a charge of misapplication of fiduciary property between $30,000 and $150,000. She was released from jail after posting a $20,000 bond.

The indictment accuses Williams of mishandling funds from John DeLoach and two of his companies: John DeLoach Enterprises Inc., doing business as Bexar Towing, and Ouachita Enterprises Inc., doing business as Bexar Auto Storage…
