Church leaders raising concerns about Cleveland car break-ins: ‘A bold attack’

CLEVELAND (WJW) – An alarming increase in car break-ins committed by juveniles at Cleveland churches, schools, hospitals and businesses is prompting a group of local church leaders to address the problem and discuss potential solutions.

Members of “United Pastors in Mission” are raising what they call “urgent questions about our community’s safety and the moral development of our children.”

During a press conference at Mount Olive Baptist Church on Wednesday, the ministers told reporters that they are troubled by the spike in car break-ins across the city, at locations that include houses of worship during Sunday services…
