GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Reys, a popular downtown bar, is back to its original late-night operating hours, after a nearly two-month suspension that forced it to close during peak business hours.
On Thursday, the Greenville Board of Zoning Appeals unanimously approved Reys’ request to operate as a late-night bar rather than a bar and restaurant, allowing the Main Street establishment near Coffee Street to serve customers past midnight.
Major financial impact
Reys’ representative Tim Kearns said the suspension created significant financial problems for the business.
