YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man accused of stealing from a vehicle in a York County church parking lot learned that you can run, but you can’t hide from law enforcement.
“Come get me,” is what Virgel Pauling, 63, of Stewartstown, allegedly told Southern Regional Police when he was contacted in November and told to turn himself in, according to police.
Pauling then lied about where he was, saying he was in New York City, however, police said he was found in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He was taken into custody and will be transported back to Pennsylvania to answer his felony charges.
