Veteran criminal-defense attorney Mark Geragos believes the homicide investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez has entered an unusually secretive phase, revealing what he describes as major tension between the Los Angeles Police Department and the LA County Medical Examiner over the handling of the case. Hernandez was found deceased and decomposing in the frunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla on September 8th, 2025. The LAPD has been more tight-lipped about this case over any other in recent history.
