The Manteca Police Department is increasing patrols on Friday through New Year’s Day as part of the nationwide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, targeting drivers impaired by alcohol, prescription medications, cannabis, or other substances.
Officers will be highly visible on the streets to reduce the risk impaired drivers pose to the community, as reported by the Manteca Police Department.
