PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man has been sentenced to prison time on charges of cyberstalking and sending obscene materials to minor females.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 29-year-old Charles M. Schmaltz was sentenced to five years in prison.

The release said Schmaltz communicated with minors between 2022 and 2024 through over ten different social media accounts.

Officials said the girls and their parents asked Schmaltz to stop communicating with the girls; however, that led Schmaltz to send “sexually explicit” content and “extremely graphic communication” to them…
