The Villages Woodworkers Club has agreed to pay for a cost overrun at The Villages Woodshop.
The Amenity Authority Committee previously allocated money to pay for a $485,400 for the dust collection system project, which also includes a replacement of the heating and air conditioning system, at the wood shop on Rolling Acres Road. A subsequent inspection by The Villages Public Safety Department prompted a $74,095.59 change order, bringing the total cost of the project to $559,495.
